Lastly, the 2011 Suzuki DL650 is a more affordable and approachable option for riders who are new to the world of adventure touring. The DL650 features a 645cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers a smooth and reliable ride. Details:

Shown with 1 extra large and 1 large size hoc 15 helmets. It's trimmed with a 3d carbon fiber decal and silver pin striping. The only drilling required is 2 holes through the rubber pad.

It's a universal trunk but these have modified mounting hardware to fit the v strom. TeXes pxzj878 TeXes 19. The hinged latch is abs.

The 982 includes a heavy gauge steel mounting plate with spot welded joints and PVC trim on the bottom edges to protect your rack from damage. New model 982 extra large detachable motorcycle trunk. With some extra large full face or modular flip up helmets, only one will fit.

New Motorbox model 982 extra large detachable motorcycle trunk with mounting plate drilled to fit v storms with the standard rack as shown in the first photo below. It comes with a sturdy metal base plate and hardware for attaching it to the factory v strom luggage rack.

You can detach it from the bike with the push of a button and carry it as a suitcase.

Steel base plates are more durable than plastic plates. No personal checks please. This model does not have a backrest. Standard factory rack for dl 650 and dl 1000 side cases with matching keys shown mounted on give monkey racks.

It fits better with the large helmet reversed as in the following picture. The mounting hardware includes 1 metal mounting strip that has been shortened to fit the luggage rack and the necessary bolts and washers to complete the installation. The racks require a slight modification to improve the fit see the last picture in the listing for a view of the modification. The v strom rack has a load capacity of 22 lbs.

This case is large enough to usually hold 2 full face helmets. Plastic base plates can be damaged by the steel detaching mechanism resulting in accidental release. Modified to fit v strom DL650, DL1000.

Give monkey side racks can be easily modified to fit the they will mount directly to give monkey side racks with some slight modifications as in the last picture below. The mounting point layout is the same as the give monkey system which is rated for a 22 lb payload capacity, but the 982 will not fit give monkey mounting plates.

To improve the fit of the 982 to these give racks, we added 1 lock washer to each of the lower posts and a small metal strip to raise up and tilt back the latching post. Iota tight fit but it works.

This new well made 42 liter case is our largest detachable case. The 982 with the plate weighs about 10 lbs so you can carry 12 lbs of cargo within the trunk without exceeding the luggage rack's rating.
